2015 Fall Fashion Week
This year’s fall fashion show lent itself to some pretty
daring trends for the New Year. I took some of the best looks and translated
them into design inspirations for 2016.

Have fun mixing and matching both furniture pieces and
accessories for a welcoming den or Florida room. Sticking to a neutral color
scheme will unify different textures and patterns, that might otherwise
overwhelm a space. Adding cozy elements, like pillows and blankets, in soft
fabrics will draw everyone to this space.

A soft monochrome color scheme is a great way to update traditional
kitchens. Additional elements within the room can sway it towards a more contemporary
or classic style. For instance, granite countertops and sleek furniture give a kitchen
a more modern feel.

Keep a bathroom looking clean and timeless with prominent
white elements, and add hints of metallic and shine to add subtle interest to
the room. If you want to warm up the space, add gold or champagne accents. Introduce
mother-of-pearl features to add an element of understated glitz.
